Avocado This strange fruit that comes from Central America has officially joined the kitchen, not only for savory but also sweet dishes.
It should be specified that avocado is a fruit because many people get confused and think it is a vegetable. It is a very fat fruit, but its are good fats and not only do they not make you fat, but they are also very good for your health. Do you think that a few slices of avocado in the salad or a little pulp a day are enough to lower the level of cholesterol in our blood, it is good for circulation because acid fats are allies of the heart.
Avocado is the perfect fruit for those who are on a diet or do not want to eat a lot, it sates very quickly, so use it without going to savings, especially if you are trying to drop the extra pounds, like me in this period.
As you can see from the image above, it is also very easy to clean. Just cut in two, remove the seed and then the peel.
There are several ways to prepare avocado in the kitchen, I usually cut it into slices in salad, cubes when I make tuna tartar or large and thin slices when I use it on bread with egg.
Just the latter is the recipe I want to offer you today.
The other day I wanted to have light lunch and so I said why not make toast, eggs and avocado? Then I took two slices of white bread and toasted them well, as I like them. I cut the avocado into slices and laid it on the bread, I put a little oil and salt and pepper. I prepared two bull’s-eye eggs and put them on top of the slices of bread I had previously prepared.
The crunchiness of the bread goes perfectly with the softness of the avocado and the yellow of the egg. Have you ever tried it?
